LITERACY INTERVENTION

Diagnostic Assessment, Bespoke Tutoring

Students will be assessed and have an individualized reading & writing plan in place.

Students receive 1:1 virtual or in-person tutoring to enhance their decoding, encoding, and writing skills using the renowned curriculum developed at The Windward School, specializing in children with language-based learning disabilities, dyslexia & dysgraphia.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

Early Childhood Education & Early Childhood Special Education

Tides House has created curricula for private tutoring companies, individualized students, and resource room interventions.  Expertise in child development, how children acquire and learn language, and the in-depth process of learning to read and write using research-based interventions.

SPECIAL EDUCATION ADVOCATE

Special Education

Review of assessments, evaluations and school reports to assist parents in the Special Education Process.  Will attend PPT or CSE meetings for parental support and student advocacy.  

CONSULTANT

Education, Literacy & Curriculum Consultant

Experience in the private school sectors of NYC, public schools in New York & Connecticut, as well as specialized private special education schools in Westchester County give Tides House an in depth knowledge of curriculum modules, interventions & bespoke programming to help teachers & students succeed.
